Cancellation Fees

Cancellation Policy

Notice of Cancellation

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Late Cancellations

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may:

  • Incur a fee of up to 50% of the scheduled session or service fee; or

  • Be billed in accordance with applicable service agreements (e.g. NDIS)

Non-attendance

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may:

  • Incur a fee of up to 100% of the scheduled session or service fee; or

  • Be billed in accordance with applicable service agreements (e.g. NDIS)

Report and Non-face-to-face Work

Cancellation fees may also apply where significant assessment or report work has already been completed or if a client withdraws after work has commenced.

Fees will reflect the time already spent on the service.

Telehealth Appointments

Telehealth appointments are subject to the same cancellation policy.

  • If a client does not attend a scheduled telehealth session, this is considered a non-attendance.

  • If technical issues occur on the client's side that prevent the session from proceeding, this may be treated as a late cancellation or non-attendance

How to Cancel

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled by:

  • Phone

  • Email

Cancellations are considered received at the time the message was sent.

Exceptions

We understand that unforeseen circumstances occur and fees may be reduced or waived at the clinician’s discretion in situations such as illness, emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances.

Rationale

Appointment times and assessment work are reserved specifically for you.  Late cancellations and missed appointments limit availability for other clients and impact the sustainability of the service.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this cancellation policy.
